What the job is all about

There is the possibility of further training, for example full-time or part-time, to become a technician in order to work not only in production, but also in the development and work preparation of components, or to take a master craftsman’s examination a few years after your apprenticeship
Due to the general shortage of skilled workers, there is a high chance of being taken on after your apprenticeship at the training company and, in the long term, employment in many different production facilities

Apprenticeship Overview

All methods of metalworking: e.g. milling, drilling, filing, sawing, turning
Read, prepare and work according to technical documents
Creating CNC programs for computer-controlled milling machines
Setting up conventional machines and CNC machines for milling or turning
Maintenance and servicing of machines
Monitoring of the production process, quality inspection and assurance of the work results

What We’re Looking For

Good secondary school leaving certificate or intermediate school leaving certificate
Craftsmanship and technical understanding
Solid basic knowledge of mathematics and physics
Good spatial awareness
Independent way of working
Sense of responsibility, determination, ability to work in a team

Apprenticeship duration

3.5 years
Shortening possible with appropriate performance or previous education

A45:
Take the Florstadt exit onto the B 275 towards Lauterbach. Drive to Ortenberg-Lißberg, then take the first right and follow the signs (shortly after the bridge). Continue until you reach the company branch at Mühlgasse 18-20.

Note for truck drivers:
Coming from Gedern (B 275), please do not drive via Schlossgasse into Mühlgasse but follow the signs.
